Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research UK
Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research UK is the UK’s largest blood cancer research charity and helps the 28,500 people diagnosed with blood cancers every year through information, support and providing lifesaving research. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the largest UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
We have several personal instances of Leukaemia with our peloton including Peter (Micks Father in Law) who survived from a diagnosis 10 years ago and Nutmeg (the one without the tash) currently chewing his way through a mountain of cat tablets to help with his treatment.
We feel we are riding for a very special cause by supporting Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and following in the footsteps of Sir Ian Botham and Geoff Thomas (TDF ride 2007) we have some pretty big shoes to fill!
Please help us hit our target of £50,000 by supporting Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research through our justgiving site and with our various fundraising ideas, including t-shirts and a party!
